This arrangement of Ave Maria incorporates the beautiful harmonies of Bach’s Prelude in C. Lever changes are required but are minimized without sacrificing the original voicing. As the lever changes are mostly in the mid-range, it is easy to reach two levers and engage them at the same time, effectively reducing the times the left hand has to leave the strings. Once in your repertoire, you will be happy to be able to oblige requests for this piece in ceremonies, as it usually holds special significance for the clients.
Solo in C for pedal or lever harp - Upper intermediate/advanced level.
