Clarsach Mhor III - Preloved

This harp was inspired by the one built by John Egan, of Dublin, for the Belfast Irish Harp Society in 1819. This 36 string, lower headed model was offered in response to those who wanted a harp with a full five octave range, and somewhat bigger sound than the 34, but would still fit in the back seat of small cars.

This harp was built in Winnipeg MB by Larry Fisher in 2003 with imbuya (walnut finish) and sitka spruce-veneered-sitka spruce. Clarsach Mhor means "big harp" in Gaelic.

It is a lovely harp! Perfect for a beginning harpist or one who like to travel with the harp.  Very lightweight and portable, with a delicate, yet rich sound. It has 36 strings and is fully levered.

Original owner purchased new from Fisher Harps in October 2003

This harp shows minimal signs of wear, is in excellent condition with a beautiful walnut finish.
