Aquatintes (Watercolors) is a set of six short pieces. These lovely melodies can be used for teaching and performing. Movements 1 and 2 have more of a driving rhythm. The soulful, meditative melody of the 3rd movement has a meter change. The 4th movement has a lilting melody, the 5th is modal, and the 6th is playful. Keys in 2 flats to 3 sharps. INTERMEDIATE
